CONSORTIUM

The University of Messina is a public institution endowed with autonomy, which inherits the cultural tradition of the ancient Studium messanense generale and renews it in scientific research and teaching. The Department of Chemical, Biological Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences (ChiBioFarAm) includes the PhD courses in Chemical Sciences, Applied Biology and Experimental Medicine. ChiBioFarAm Dept. coordinates the research activities of several laboratories in the chemical, biological pharmaceutical and environmental areas. 

The Institute of Science, Technology and Sustainability for Ceramics  (ISSMC) of the CNR is the Italian Pole of Excellence on Ceramic Materials, where the conception, design and development of new ceramic and hybrid materials takes place. The Cell/Material BioLAB of the ISSMC-CNR is focused on the study of cell/biomaterial interactions. Accuracy is the main pillar of the Lab, which is extremely important to reach the goal of the translational research to the preclinical study and to the medical use.

The National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM) (MU, Maynooth University) was established in 1997, but traces its origins to the foundation of St. Patrick’s College Maynooth in 1795. The Department of Chemistry at Maynooth University is a research-led and student focused department, with research and teaching expertise in Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Analytical and Computational Chemistry.

Palacký University Olomouc (UP) has a long-standing tradition, founded in the 16th century. It is the oldest university in the region Moravia and the second-oldest university in the Czech Republic. The Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine (IMTM)is an internationally recognized biomedical research center. 

Nantes Université (UN) is one of the largest omnidisciplinary universities in France. Tumour Heterogeneity and Precision Medicine Lab is a laboratory in biological sciences which conducts fundamental research in biochemistry (in vitro, in vivo and in silico) and in epigenetics.

The Medical University of Vienna is the largest medical organization in Austria, it is also one of the most important top-level research institutions in Europe. The Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy is an organizational unit of the Medical University of Vienna with four divisions and three research centers.

NTSOL is an innovation private company founded on January 2019. NTSOL design, develop, manufacture and commercialize advanced instruments for probing/exploiting magnetic properties in nanomaterials, paying especial attention to their interest in energy, security, biomedical and biotechnological applications.

Cogentech is a dynamic company providing post-genomic services for cancer research and diagnostic services. Since its creation in 2005, Cogentech has been working in close collaboration with its institutional founders, namely the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) and the FIRC Institute for Molecular Oncology (IFOM).
