On 29-30 October 2025, the STRIKE consortium will gather for its 5th Progress Meeting, hosted by the National University of Ireland Maynooth.
Discussions will focus on three key research areas:
- Magnetic beads for liquid biopsy
- Metals for theranostic and imaging purposes
- Magnetic nanomaterials for drug delivery in osteosarcoma therapy
This meeting will be an opportunity to review achievements so far and discuss the next steps in advancing the STRIKE methodology.
The following day, on 31 October 2025, consortium members will also take part in the IBICS-9 Metal in Medicine Symposium, organised by the Irish Biological Inorganic Chemistry Society, where the STRIKE network will share its latest results through three poster presentations.
