About the researcher
His master’s degree is in Biopharmaceutical Material Science within the BIOPHAM Erasmus Mundus master's program. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Nanoscience with a specialization in nanomedicine. Both his MSc and BSc degrees are characterized by a diverse and interdisciplinary selection of courses focusing on the medical applications of materials science and drug development, particularly in tissue engineering, drug delivery, and tumor modeling. He has also explored areas such as molecular simulation and machine learning, broadening his understanding of these fields.
His Ph.D. project will center on developing in-vitro 2D and 3D models for osteosarcoma to biologically evaluate magnetic nanoparticles. One of the primary reasons he is drawn to this position is his strong belief in the tremendous potential of the tumor engineering field and its ability to revolutionize the drug development process more efficiently.
